The UAI Bureau met in Paris on 13 and 14 February 2025 at the invitation of the Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres.

During this meeting, the members of the Bureau had the chance to hear from several directors of projects supported by the UAI: Mrs Chantal Grell, member of the Académie internationale d'histoire des sciences and director of the project dedicated to editing the correspondence of Johannes Hevelius, and Mr Philippe Hoffmann, member of the Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres and director of the Monumenta Palaeographica Medii Aevi project.

The Board also welcomed Mr Serge Sur and Ms Marianne Bastid-Bruguière to present their project proposal on the study of the trafficking of works of art.

The Board also welcomed Salvatore Aricó, CEO of the International Science Council, and discussed future collaboration between the ISC and the UAI.

Finally, Alexander Sterkens and Christophe Vanden Borre from Brepols Publishers gave the Board members an update on Brepols' publishing activities and the company's medium-term plans. Many of the projects supported by the UAI are published by Brepols Publishers.

The members of the Board were able to attend the weekly meeting of the Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres, which was followed by a reception organised jointly by the AIBL and the UAI.
