Every two years, the International Union of Academies holds its General Assembly at the seat of one of its members.
In 2019, the General Assembly was held in Paris at the invitation of the Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres.
This event was an opportunity for the Union Académique International to celebrate its centenary where its founding happened, at the Institut de France in 1919.
