Shaban Sinani is an associated member of the Academy of Sciences of Albania, with the title Professor and a PhD in cultural anthropology. He is the author of more than 30 research monographs and summarized studies. His research is mainly into: the mythology in the oral tradition and in literature, the power and the literature, the tradition of Christian manuscripts, the salvation of Jews in Albania during the WWII. Some of his works have been translated in French (Le Dossier Kadaré, 2006) and in English (Albanians and Jews: the Protection and Salvation, 2014). He is the author of about 150 research articles in Albanian and European journals; and he has also been an invited lecturer in universities at home and abroad.
